Judith L. Bergman M.A. CCC-SLP
Founder & Director

Ms. Bergman has over 35 years of experience serving a variety of persons with communication disorders across diverse settings including private and public schools, hospitals and assisted living centers. She was Director of Speech and Audiology at the Belchertown State School in Massachusetts and an adjunct professor at William Paterson College in Wayne, New Jersey.

Ms. Bergman teaches in the Duke University Continuing Studies program. Her six-hour workshop,  The Sounds of English, includes an overview of the accent modification process and introduction to the phonemes (sounds) used in English. This course is next scheduled  for two consecutive Saturday afternoons on September 20 and 27,  2008. The Duke University Department of Physics also sponsored  The Sounds of English for a group of  students from China in August 2007 and Ms. Bergman just repeated this workshop on August 11 and 13, 2008 for another group of new international students.

Ms. Bergman sees clients in her Durham office and is available to conduct small group training in a classroom space at the Woodcroft Professional Center.

Ms. Lord has been working as a certified speech-language pathologist for the past eight years (Canadian Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists CASLPA 2000; ASHA 2001). Prior to moving to the United States in February 2002, Ms. Lord provided home care and school based services for both the adult and pediatric population in Ontario, Canada.

She has experience in working with a diverse population ranging from pre-school to adult and with people from various cultural backgrounds and is currently a speech-language pathologist at Durham Regional Hospital.

Ms. Lord has completed a training seminar conducted by the author of "Medically Speaking." She is currently available to work with Triangle Speech Services clients using any of our programs at their company locations on Mondays during the regular work day.
